  BPSC's current OTR process uses a live webcam photo rather than a pre-saved photograph upload. Hindi and English signatures are prepared as separate image files. The specifications below are based on the BPSC User Manual; if your specific recruitment advertisement gives different instructions, follow that advertisement.

What You Need for a BPSC Application

BPSC OTR involves more than uploading a photograph and one signature. Before starting, keep these items ready:

• A working webcam and a well-lit place for the live photograph
• English signature
• Hindi signature
• Matriculation and educational documents
• Category, EWS or residence documents where applicable
• Experience or other certificates required for your post

Keeping these ready before opening the application can make the OTR process easier and reduce interruptions while completing your profile.

BPSC Live Photo: What to Expect

The BPSC OTR process captures the photograph live through your webcam. You do not prepare a normal JPG photograph for this particular step. Before starting the photo capture, check the following:

BPSC Signature Requirements: Hindi & English

BPSC OTR requires separate Hindi and English signature files.

Prepare the two files separately, for example signature-english.jpg and signature-hindi.jpg. For both signatures: write clearly on plain paper, use the language required for that upload field, keep the complete handwriting inside the image, remove unnecessary blank space around the signature, and make sure the signature remains readable after compression.

Using clear filenames also reduces the chance of uploading the Hindi signature into the English field or vice versa.

How to Prepare Your BPSC Signature Files

You can prepare both signature files using the same basic workflow. Resize your signature with our Signature Resizer, remove extra blank space with Crop Signature Online, and bring the file under the KB limit with our Signature Compressor.

   Write your English signature and Hindi signature separately on clean paper.

   Scan or photograph each signature in good lighting.

   Remove unnecessary white space while keeping the complete handwriting visible.

   Adjust the image to the required 150–220 px width and 250–320 px height.

   Compress

   Bring each file below 20 KB while keeping the signature readable.

   Use separate filenames such as signature-english.jpg and signature-hindi.jpg.

   Open both final files once before uploading them to BPSC OTR.

BPSC OTR Documents to Keep Ready

Your photograph and signatures are only part of the OTR preparation. Depending on your recruitment and category, keep the following information and documents available:

• Matriculation (10th) certificate and details
• Educational certificates and marksheets
• Category certificate, where applicable
• EWS certificate, where applicable
• Residence or domicile document, where required
• Non-creamy layer certificate, where applicable
• Experience certificate for posts that require experience
• Disability certificate, where applicable
• Aadhaar or other identification details

Not every applicant will need every document. The requirements depend on the recruitment, post and category being claimed.

BPSC OTR Workflow

The overall process can be understood like this: OTR → Profile Information → Photo & Signatures → Profile Lock → Select Advertisement → Application → Payment → Application Print.

Check Your Profile Before Locking It

Take extra care with information such as:

• Name
• Father's name
• Mother's name
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Aadhaar details
• Other identity information

Some profile information may not be editable through the normal process after the profile is locked. Compare important details with your original documents before proceeding.

Before completing your BPSC application, review the entire form rather than checking only the images.

• Live photograph has been captured clearly.
• English signature is uploaded to the correct field.
• Hindi signature is uploaded to the correct field.
• Both signature files are under 20 KB.
• Signature dimensions match the required range.
• Profile information matches your original documents.
• Required certificates are available.
• Correct BPSC advertisement has been selected.
• Email address and mobile number are correct.
• Payment has been completed where applicable.
• Submitted application has been downloaded and saved.

Keep your original files and final application documents together for future reference: English signature, Hindi signature, educational documents, category documents, submitted application, and payment receipt.
